Hasty Red
HASTY RED
Hasty Red is a Nine Year old Gelding who is at risk of being put down because his owner feels that he is not manageable. We would like to bring Hasty Red to Pure Thoughts and give him a chance. Our feeling is that he has just been in the wrong circumstances. At the very least Hasty Red deserves the opportunity to live a full life. He is a Florida bred and he will come to Pure Thoughts for an evaluation and retraining. Please help us help Hasty Red!!

Hasty Red was labeled a "killer horse;" Confused as to why he has been beaten in the past..yes, fearful still that the blow to the head may come again..yes, willing to try once more to give trust and love without disappointment..yes.. Killer Horse... absolutely not. Hasty is willing to try one more time... and we are willing to give him all the patience and time that he needs. Here he is in the roundpen working on groundwork with Melissa. Thank you to everyone who worked to save this boy.. he did not need to be euthanized.. he just needed to be returned the kindness and respect that he is willing to give.
